Dr. Bruce Greyson’s book, After: A Doctor Explores What Near-Death Experiences Reveal about Life and Beyond, is a memoir of his own journey toward rethinking the nature of death, life, and the continuity of consciousness. Dr. Greyson’s initial experience of a comatose patient revealing details that she should not have any access to prompted him to pursue a career that included research on these increasingly prevalent case histories of extra-normal conscious awareness beyond the scope of traditional body-based senses. Now after 50 years in this trailblazing search for answers, Dr. Greyson is publishing his first solo book to reveal results of his own viewpoint on the work that has favored him with the title “The Father of NDE Research”.
